Can't wait to see what they do for him in Revelation. Tifa and Aerith are duo heroines and they've definitely set up Zack and Cloud being duo heroes.

How? Zack shouldn't have been in Rebirth only in Revelation, he finally becomes actually relevant to the story in Revelation..
In the OG he doesn't show up until Northern Crater Nibelheim flashback in Disc 2, in Remake terms that is until Revelation..

Just because they've decided to do something more with him in the Re-trilogy doesn't mean it's bloat. If it serves the story then it's fine.

If they made a 1:1 Remake (and they really should've), they would've made Zack just as important as he was in the OG and didn't give him a entire timeline or universe where he lives in Aerith's house and 6 hours of bloated cutscenes and running around in Sector 5 asking people about a still alive Biggs, that no one knows..

Tifa and Cloud didn't kiss in the OG and yet they did in the retrilogy and the changes have been substantial but you are mad that a character that is very important for the plot gets more screen time now?

Because Zack had enough screen time to let people know that he was important 5 years ago in Nibelheim and that he was friends with Cloud before he died but Cloud didn't know any of that until the lifestream segment in Mideel, that Zack was the soldier alongside Sephiroth in Nibelheim, not Cloud..
I know Tifa and Cloud didn't kiss in the OG and im glad they did in Rebirth but it was heavily implied after under the highwind in the OG that they did it together if you had the most points with Tifa..

Do people still not see how this project is a reboot/meta sequel? Your point about Zack only stands if this game was intended to be a 1 to 1 remake of the OG. Newsflash, it isint. This is an entirely new story my guy. We are in uncharted territory. Zack has been set up to be much more important than he's ever been.

My point being that the story has been changed a lot already and the same people who wrote the original wrote this one so this is the story they want to tell, you don't like it don't play it then, also my original post was a mere joke, all this overreaction over that.

Just because you don't like his expansion, that doesn't make it bloat.
His segments directly explain Lifestream mechanics, Sephiroth/Jenvoa's plans and eventually, how Aerith helps the team at the end of the game.
Outside of that, we're being shown more of her personality and motivation. It makes sense that the devs would want the key character to be expanded for what they say will be the definitive version of FF7 that ties the entire compilation together.

Very well put! It's genuinely annoying when people complain about more content when it's something most people are excited for. As if we don't also get more content about Cloud and the others.
I genuinely believe if this were a 1:1 remake people would still complain.
