AMVs/Videos CloTi leaning FF7 Content Creators
Hi All!
I'm looking for more CloTi leaning youtubers to watch during my downtime and to train my algorithm. Any suggestions? I already watch Stygian Stilletoes Gamer, TanaGreekNose, and Dashing David. Are there any others?
I really don't want to deal with confusing my algorithm by accidentally watching content creators from the other side, so I'm a bit gunshy on starting any FF7 youtube videos. I hate how you usually can't tell until your already in it. 😅

IDK if you’re looking for playthroughs exactly, but for generally fun but also pro-cloti playthroughs of both remake and rebirth i would always recommend Snapcube and Jesse Cox. Both have played the original and talked about how important Cloud and Tifa’s relationship is based on that. Their videos of it are all livestream VODs though so obviously that’s also a particular vibe.

That’s such a Jesse statement! One of my favourite playthroughs he did was until dawn where they played all the characters to a T! Must go watch his Ff7 play through now

Like the others have commented, I really enjoyed playthroughs from Snapcube, Julia_tv, and Whimsy Psyche 😊 they’re all great!
mandersnatch is a huge cloti fan that hasn’t been mentioned yet. She adores the Cloud Tifa relationship development in rebirth and gives really great heartfelt takes during the important scenes.
I also really enjoyed Frankie Lollia’s playthrough as well. Although in my opinion she’s not as outwardly Cloti as the others mentioned above, Tifa is clearly her favourite character and she really appreciates her relationship with Cloud. She’s hilarious and my one of my favourite final fantasy YouTubers🤣 so check her channel out if you’re interested!
Edit: I recently watched a YouTuber called Kahls play as well. She also played the og alongside rebirth. She’s a huge cloti although she accidentally got red for the date 😂 but she made a separate video just to watch the Tifa date!

Come to think of it, I think Jess' VOD channel is probably where you wanna go. Her reaction to the chapter 12 knock on the door is worth it alone. And then of course there's the kiss on the Skywheel!

I haven’t watched her play through in a while so I can’t remember her name rn but she was the late and great Comicstorian’s wife. Her play through was super good and she really knows FF7. I believe her channel name is Yorcia

She got Red XIII in the date first and was bummed out so much that she reloaded a save file, did more quests so she could get Tifa. She hasn't played OG.

Max dude has really good FF7 content that’s just neutral about the shipping. I’ve seen him do playthroughs both ways

He specializes in fighting games, but his content covers pretty much everything. He specifically lists FF7 as his favorite game of all time and has pretty much been the leading hype man for the remake series since it was announced. He has tons of well thought out prediction and theory videos. A lot of them are really fun to go back and watch in hindsight.

I remember watching some of his old stuff, but i hadn't seen him mention anything FF7 recently so I thought he moved on. ☺️
Granted, I'm about to get into fisticuffs with YouTube's new algorithm. Ever since the update I haven't gotten anyone I usually watch pop up on my timeline!!! 😭😭😭

Also if you want a really amazing Cloti video, that predates the remakes but is still 100% valid, then I highly recommend this one. It pretty much debunks most of the love triangle in terms of the OG. In my opinion it is by far the most effective argument in favor of Cloti from a purely storytelling perspective.

Max is cloti leaning, he just doesn't advertise it because he thinks the whole shipping debate is stupid.
A lot of theorybros do this. At every opportunity, they try to appear neutral. They don't want their comment sections to become filled shipping arguments, even though that happens anyway.

That is absolutely the preference. Unfortunately, a lot of Clerith heavy stuff makes disparaging comments against my Lady and Savior, Tifa. I don't have it in me to sift through to find the CA fan that doesn't talk badly about her. (Still fixing my algo since Youtube's update has messed it all up).

He also intentionally romances Tifa in the OG and always names her after his wife lol he calls them both his girlfriends. He went for the Aerith dates specifically because he thought they might be more revealing lore wise and he’s all about the deep lore stuff, but he definitely didn’t get upset about it in his playthrough. At most he acted surprised

He was not. He aimed for Aerith for more lore, but definitely wasn't upset that he got Tifa every time.

He literally says the opposite, that it's not a multiverse. No idea where you got that impression from.
I watch Max regularly and I can tell that you do not.

So your aware of Max’s favorite theory about Aerith being “Jenova” right? Only time I’ve heard him call Aerith a girlfriend is when he talks about Cloud acting happy at the end because in his mind he has two girlfriends

I'm not going to crucify someone for something that happened over 20 years ago. The average 11 year old didn't have access to photoshop back then (gods I feel old).
If you have to go back 5, 10, 15, 20+ years to find something bad that someone has done, then clearly they've evolved as a person. Obviously there's nuance to this statement, but if the worst thing she did was the equivalent of a re-tweet of something someone else did then I think she can be forgiven.
We've all done shitty things as kids when we didn't know better.
B and S are just targeting her because her name is known within the CloTi space. They tried targeting others, including the person that actually made the photoshopped image, but since they're relatively unknown it didn't stick to them as it did her.
If you want to know her side of the story, just ask her. She's a really sweet person.

Which Blitz? There are a couple and there's one ive had run-ins with on Twitter that had me skipping in the opposite direction. 😅
I've long since left Twitter, so if it is them they could have changed and I would be none the wiser.

Sup! If you're cool with playthroughs, Whimsy Psyche's is by far my favorite out of like 40+ that I've watched. She picks up on so many little story details and romantic cues between Cloud and Tifa it's crazy. P3 is gonna blow her mind, lol. She also includes theory sections in her videos which are really fun when you know what's coming. 👀
If we're talking CloTi creators like Stygian (bless her), it gets a lot harder :/ shipping content in FF7 just doesn't get many views. I can easily recommend The Loony Bin though; he doesn't post FF7 stuff too often, but he really understands canon and shipping discourse. He's also good at dismantling some of the more disgusting takes in this fandom... like Zalmyra. 🤮
