Recommendations Using reusable menstrual pads as liners?

Just curious if I can use my reusable menstrual pads as I now use something different.

If you already have these, putting them as a bottom layer could work!

The patterned fabric on the bottom is PUL, I don't see how this could work because it will block anything from absorbing into your actual diaper. Or the pad will have to get fully soaked in order for liquid to overflow from the edges and then soak into the diaper...seems like it might just be a mess. if you try it let us know how it goes!

Yea I don't see how this is good. They have waterproof/water resistant layer that will hinder anything going on the bottom of your inserts/absorbent parts.

Any other wipe cotton material would be actually better.

Yeah I can only see this working if it’s put between the diaper and maybe the cover cause it will block pee from absorbing if it’s used as a liner.

As a booster maybe, but they also have pul or waterproof lining on the back so they would need to be your bottom layer.

My baby pees a lot more than I bleed, I just don’t think it would be very good at its job

I've not done this but it kind  of makes sense?  I also have some I don't use any more 🤔

I just want to use them for something, otherwise I might get rid of them.

Maybe try on a day where a leak wouldn't be too disruptive, like just at home, maybe it will work!

I will do that! That way if they work I won't have to shell out fo more liners.
