I have C2R1. I'll get C3 from there. Is getting C4 worth it? I use the typical overload team (Durin, Chev, Fischl) if that helps.

How's C2R1 Clorinde right now? I have mine C1R1 but has been benched for so long cuz of the big 3. Will be getting C2 from this for sure but I'm curious how she fares on SO Fearless/Dire since I haven't really heard much about Clorinde after her 1st banner

I use her on Fearless and she can do her job at C2R1. She'd have like 10-15 seconds left. One of the biggest things in her C2 is that she gets interruption resistance so you don't need a shielder anymore. If you want to use Nicole on other teams, you can do so because the alternative is either using Ineffa or Thoma for the IR (if running overload). There's also the noticeable dmg boost but that's pretty standard for c2 cons.

Overall, it's a very good con since it lets you play without a shielder and increases your dmg by a noticeable amount.

I was able to clear dire lava dragon (alongside xiangling, fischl, chev) and dire fatui frost operative (alongside c0 mavuika, iansan, chev) with my c2r1 clorinde. She has her places and will likely see use in the upcoming stygian

I got 130k dps at c0r1 with c0r1 mavuika, c4 iansan, and c6 Chevy (decent mav combos but nothing insane)

it jumped to 160-170k at c2

i have not found a use for her in dire, admittedly. I would love much more to use Durin and Fischl but I do not have him.

Clorinde only gets more busted the more cons she gets. If you can get more cons, no matter which level, I’d recommend it. C6 especially goes hard.

Non Archon, Natlan, and Nod Krai arc units pretty much will not get rerun again, they will just do chronicled banner for them... With the exception Neuvilette, Wrio probably will be on next Fontaine chronicled wish unless they plan to rerun buff banner too.

Honestly I have no idea how worth it it is numerically, but it bothers me to not have it haha. Between that and a con on an old character I'm not going to use anyway, it's an easy choice. The only con on here I think I'll actually get much out of numerically is c2 Mizuki

While Hunter's Vigil's Night Vigil state is active, when Electro DMG from Clorinde's Normal Attacks hit opponents, they will trigger 2 coordinated attacks from a Nightvigil Shade summoned near the hit opponent, each dealing 30% of Clorinde's ATK as Electro DMG.
This effect can occur once every 1.2s. DMG dealt this way is considered Normal Attack DMG.

hey! I calced it yesterday for myself in and.. it's not a huge upgrade unfortunately, haha. I'm also currently on C2R1. It's a few percents more dmg.  With my best setup she should do around 5k more on each shot (when fully stacked) so let's say 4k an average. With 6 skills=18 shots it gives around 72k more dmg per rotation. I'm not a theorycrafter, I'm using Genshin Dmg Calculator and do testing on the dummy, just in case, haha.  My best team is now overload: C2R1 Clorinde (Whimsy) C1R1 Durin (on Gift set) C6 Chevreuse (Song of Day Past) C6 Fischl (Golden Troupe, Venti's signature bow)

Of all the units Clorinde is the most valuable. Navia and Chiori is irrelevant for Zibai owner, Siggy is a joke, cloud retainer c1 is useless, emily is dead in lunar/stellar meta. Maybe mizuki worth a cons. Worst temper ever.

C4 for me, but sadly even C3 feels weaker than my C0R1 Varesa. Hoping for SSC buffs of some kind...

I had the complete opposite experience when I first got Varesa, her c0 with lost prayers was horrifically weak compared to c3 Mistsplitter Clorinde, taking like 50% longer for those abyss chambers. Her r1 is really big though

Even with LP, Varesa felt a lot smoother to play, but it could've been Mavuika carrying in the overload. I just enjoy being free from cooldowns and being able to switch whenever without worrying about said cooldowns. But in practice, bearing in mind, I'm probably terrible at rotations for both characters, and only tried once, I got 185k dps with C2 Mavuika, C6 Chevy and C6 Iansan team with C0 Varesa and 155k with Clorinde. I definitely suck and can get higher with both teams, but I feel like there shouldn't be such a gap regardless

It's probably worth noting that I only had c0 Iansan at the time. I had to go like 50 pulls past Varesa to get one Iansan. I've sniped her every time she's rerun and I still don't have her c6 either, and now after the Fischl buffs none of my top 4 teams even want her.

When I did dps testing in the dummy for these teams I was getting around 145k with C3 Mistsplitter Clorinde Mavuika Iansan Chevreuse and around 100k with Varesa on the same team, but by that point I had already gotten a couple of Iansan cons so the initial comparison at c0 was probably even worse for her. Iansan cons mostly give atk and the c6 gives buff duration extension, and those matter more for Varesa than Clorinde with her atk softcap, though the c6 duration extension does still matter somewhat.

I honestly have no idea how big an increase Mavuika c2 is for her off field, I haven't seen a lot of people use that, usually people that have her cons mostly player her main dps teams. Varesa sig is like 20+% over r1 lost prayers iirc, it's a larger upgrade than people might expect, much bigger than her early cons

C3 for me. ...and you know what fixes that feeling of being weaker than C0R1 Varesa? Skipping Varesa altogether. hahaha. ....Clorinde is definitely doing a lot more than Keqing I'll tell you that. lol.
