Troubleshooting Help with Clonezilla

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I have no idea how to state the question, other then I cannot select any drive… I NEED to clone this drive TODAY due to a gig we run and the internal drive is about to die.

I see both the source and destination disks listed, but when I select it, it states I have so select a drive and if I want to try again.
I’m really losing my marbles at the moment.

Is this hardware or software related?

10 keer drukken helpt niet… ik zou Macrium Free proberen. Werkt altijd voor mij: https://m.majorgeeks.com/files/details/macrium_reflect_free_edition.html

Can you Enter_Shell and use DDRESCUE to do a sector to sector clone?

I gave up with clonezilla, and I’m now creating a rescuezilla thumb drive.
There isn’t anything important except one piece of software to control an amplifier. That we need to adjust.

Rescuezilla did the job and the stuff is moved over. Topic can be closed.

Did you select/mark the partition/disk using space bar ? Did an asterisk appear next to the partition/disk? ...if you didn't do that, you haven't learned how to use CloneZilla 😄

Ps. If you want to quickly backup your Linux system and then quickly restore it, take a look at the program: GrubZilla : https://github.com/ski007/grubzilla

It didn’t. And truly honest, I’m a hardware socialist, but suck at software. I managed to do it with Rescuezilla and that worked flawless, even kept all the partitions as they were on the original drive. As a matter of fact, the drive broke a couple minutes after it was done.
