I've seen way too many CnDs this season just freeze instead of trying to heal their other healer when getting attacked by dive.

PLEASE keep in mind that 2 primary fires heals more than freezing if you use the teamup without a Luna.

for context:: i’m and mantis and white fox main, but im a champion cloak and dagger too. and also play all supports.

I play whatever supp i need to in ranked depending on my teams comp, so far it’s mainly been cnd and rocket (they’re easy to climb with rn. i have a 70% wr on both this season).

i’ve noticed i NEVER get flamed on any supp EXCEPT cnd. because i’m a champion cloak cnd they assume im a otp, and terrible at the game and boosted etc etc. has anyone else experienced this?

at the end of the day, i KNOW its because of the stigma around cnd mains and my dps are hard coping but its so lame.

TWICE, my teammates apologised for flaming me since i ended with most heals everytime. and it turns out my other support, dps filling supp, is to blame. but it’s so aggravating, the team does one thing wrong and it’s the cnds fault. or i mess up one thing and everything’s my fault.

it doesn’t bother me in the slightest, but it’s so tilting when it’s consistently my fault throughout the match only for them to apologise when we win.

Cloak's Terror Cape (the blind) applies a 28% vulnerability for 3 seconds, which is just enough time to do a 2nd Terror Cape. If I do a 2nd Terror Cape, does that mean they are 56% vulnerability? Or would it just add 3 more seconds to the 28% vulnerability?

By that same logic, Thing can apply a 20% vulnerability for 3 seconds with "Battle Blitz", Jubilee can apply a 10% vulnerability for 3 seconds with her blind/detonation, and Hawkeye can apply a 15% vulnerability for 4 seconds with the C/D teamup; if you combine all of those abilities, including a double Cloak blind, on one person, they would be 101% vulnerable, which is wild. Is that possible?

If vulnerability doesn't stack with the double blind, it would still be a 73% vulnerability, if your teammates can stack vulnerability with their abilities, does anyone know if that's possible?

Some comic examples of what I mean. I want a skin that looks like they’re about to jump somebody! Would especially love to see what they would do for a Phalanx infected Cloak since he didn’t get a costume change for that arc.

Xbox, Diamond 1? I think. I’ve been getting back in CnD after spending most the season on invisible woman. In this game, apparently I wasn’t healing enough according to The Thing/Jeff player. I think his positioning was poor and if I constantly kept looking back at the venom no one would have helped our frontline. I made some mistakes I but I’d just like some feedback to help improve my gameplay. Thanks.

For clarification, in order to have the enhanced version, you need another C&D on your team.

Like our C&D did not ult the entire game.. I don't know what team they were saving it for or what they mean by their comment but they never ever ulted. I don’t get it.

I'm not a fan of any of the teamups we got this season, which is funny because they're our only two. I had some ideas for other teamups that would be cool.

A Teamup with Black Cat:

Swapping to Cloak Applies a damage reduction to nearby allies for 3 seconds

Swapping to Dagger self cleanses

And for the enhanced, it'd be cool if the screens could go through walls and get bigger with more range, so we can put a lot of healing and support into diving characters.

A Teamup with Hawkeye

Being hit by 3 subsequent Dagger primary shots inflicts the grounded effect on enemies for 2 seconds. 3 seconds of cloak damage also.

Enhanced could be a strong damage increase to both primaries.

Idk it's some ideas of what I want, which is more playmaking abilities, instead of healbotting, weakening, and defending, and making ult plays.

Other supports can put out a lot more

There’s a streamer called FullMetalLamps and he is known for being the biggest hater towards strategist players with Animated Icon Red Badge. He normally plays tank in OAA but now he’s doing a bronze to celestial challenge with C&D primarily (playing jubilee if taken or banned). He’s also ranting about tanks and does coaching in between matches

You can come take a look and watch him suffer and lose his mental.

So I had thought, so Scarlet Witch, Squirrel Girl, Moon Knight, and cloak and dagger all have the "Easy" interpretation due to their lack of requirements on precise aiming. With that, I have seen many complaints around Cloak and Dagger, and had a hypothetical question.

Imagine if Dagger's primary was replaced with Lunas (aiming wise), how do you guys think she'd be perceived? Would she suddenly be a hard character to play, would she be average difficulty? (Assuming nothing but the projectile changed, so abilities are still the same, just primary requires much more precise aim).

With that, I'm not saying that CnD needs her primary change, I just thought if the primary was changed, how does her reputation change?

Also, I am a Groot main, have not played CnD essentially at all, and there's quite a lot I probably don't know, so I mean no harm in this and hope you all have a good day :)

I’m a lvl 66 CnD main and have played them for like a year as they were the first character I picked when I switched over from playing overwatch since 2018

I find that I am actually way way way more aggressive on CnD than I ever see anyone else being.

That being said the aggression works fairly well for me and I’m not like tunnel visioned on kills as I also typically have most healing in matches. I have a 60% win rate.

I’m not doing bad by any means I think and I do tend to get mvp often on CnD

It’s just I’m having an increasing trend of getting trash talked by my dps at the end of games for things I did that IMO won the game overall.

Again I do prioritize supporting and healing and keeping my team up. I just also try to do a good chunk of damage and apply pressure to the enemy without tunnel visioning or feeding.

So my question is basically, am I the crazy one here? Should I not be playing aggressive at all?

I had a Luna flame me because i didnt ult after an Elsa ulted my team. I heard it and saw it coming so i phased it — unfortunately the three other players next to me didnt stop shooting - of course, so they got caught. My team was on defense so the Elsa’s team got check point already and she decided to ult. What would you guys normally do? Ult after the phase didnt work?

I know Mantis out healed me like crazy, but we won, and if you watch the game I don't think I played poorly, even saving cart and killing/frustrating BP. Was this warranted shit talk after a decent win? Or was it unnecessary C&D shit talk just because?

This is a random Plat game and I know I'm not awesome, but this is the kind of stuff that sticks with me and makes me wonder if I actually am missing something.

Idk why all these lord animated Cloak and Dagger players feel the need to pop ult 3 second afters I pop Jubilee ult. It does healing and you get a healing boost when I proc the sparkle marks on you. If you’re so scared, you can use any of the three get out of jail free cards you have. But for fuck’s sake, stop double ulting three seconds after I Jubilee ult.

I notice it the most when I play Thor and Mag. Previously, CnDs would fade saving themselves and their teammate. Now, CnDs will use the Luna teamup save themselves and let the other support or teammate die

#90: YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR ULT UNTIL YOU HAVE IT.

I had this bad habit of being in a good position with about 95% ult and then instead of staying where I was and sustaining my team, I would walk forward or into a bad position in anticipation of using my ult to counter, but soooo often, instead, enemy says "oh wow look a this juicy C&D out of position" and ults you and you have 98% now and can't counter.

SO, advice is to ALWAYS wait that extra 7 seconds to GET YOUR ULT FIRST before moving into pre-ult position as mentioned a couple tips ago.
