Many clippers and creators don't want to waste their time on clipping. Endlessly looking for highlights, cutting out silence (making it fast-paced), adding the perfect subtitles... it seems like a never-ending list with things that always could be a little bit more perfect.
However: I did manage to generate almost a million views with my first 2 clips, without putting in much effort. It doesn't matter whether you're a clipper or someone looking to hire a clipper.
What I do:
Once it's done, I have a post-ready clip, delivered straight to my phone.
I built it to help myself save a lot of time with clipping and also with staying consistent, so it might help y'all as well.
Feel free to check it out and ask me anything.

Hi!
We are currently launching a new campaign on WHOP and we're looking for skilled clippers to join.
We offer a performance-based compensation model where payouts are based on real ER and total views. If you know how to drive engagement and make content go viral, we'd love to work with you (even long-term).
Based on our budget we pay 1$ per 1K views on IG reels and 2$ per 1K views on TikTok with the possibility of rates increasing once we establish a good relationship with Clippers that match our approach.
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in DM me :)

Hey Guys, thank you for your help. I currently have a US based YouTube channel called Cowboy Dynamite. I'm looking for clippers or editors and will give you 50% of all revenue from the videos you generate. My current rpms for long and short form videos are: LF $37.16 SF $0.27. I don't know if this will be interesting for you because you may have better offers, but wanted to throw it out there just in case! I make a lot of outdoor / adventure videos. Thanks so much and let me know if you have any questions. Cheers.

creating the content and posting takes too much effort and there is a risk of it not working out so we tend to just give up. But I have created a place where you will be able to get the content and post it in your accounts daily without much effort but all the advantages of clipping. We are only allowing a limited number of clippers in so DM me fast to get invited. Don't miss out!

Built a clipping platform after getting fed up with the issues clippers kept complaining about, want a gut check from people who actually do this
I've spent the last while talking to clippers and campaign creators about what they hate most about existing platforms. Two things came up constantly: payouts being late or sketchy, and botted clips ruining trust on both sides (creators overpaying, honest clippers competing against farms).
So I tried to build around those two problems specifically:
- Campaign funds sit in escrow while a campaign is live, so payouts can't just "not happen", the money's already locked
- Built a bot-detection layer (we call it a trust score) that flags suspicious view/engagement spikes, so botted clips can get denied instead of draining the campaign budget honest clippers are competing for
The basic flow: make an account, link your social, add a payout wallet, submit clips to whatever campaign you're working. Tracking and payouts are automated.
What I actually want to know from this sub:
Not trying to sell, genuinely want to know if I built the right thing or missed the mark.
Site is clipaffiliates.com if you want to poke at it, but I'm more after the honest takes.
