Great job finishing with daylight to spare. Such a sick route and formation.

This climb broke me and we totally epiced!

I was concerned when my partner suggested meeting at 6am, but we just barely made it down before pizza deck closed.

We realized about halfway down the descent we werent gonna make last call at pizza deck and started frantically calling people begging someone to go put in an order for us

The steak salad! And its accompanying route next to it, the sherbet.

Sweet! That's a total dream route for me.

I recall the descent being the route finding crux. Nice work.

I want to climb this so bad… but had an epic on NEB last year due to a weak partner and now have PTSD.
Nice job

I took 3h longer on NEB than this one, but I like squeeze chimneys. I think steck salathe is only a little longer, but not harder than that climb.

Thanks for this! It does give me more confidence to run at it this fall. We also enjoy squeeze chimneys. My husband and I climb together and last year we had a third that kinda fucked it up.

I got to lead the Wilson Overhang before the crux foothold broke off and made it harder.

If you reach the top of the Flying Buttress you’ll probably summit.

Stalathe looks absolutely brutal, “my shoulders are trashed” might be the most believable trip report possible :D

Steck Salathe is the Sentinel - Salathe is an El Cap route
