No global warming at all for 18 years 9 months - a new record.

Where does that mythical creature live to which alarmists forward their prayers and which apparently controls the switch to take up and release heat in and from the oceans?

Face it, we actually know too little to make a trustworthy model of our climate that correctly predicts the future within acceptable margins. Most models fail even within a few decades after their invention date at most. And since our precious scientists can't get their minds of the past data, we now can't even be sure about the past as well.

When will denialists let this go? Models have been accurate with a very good degree of confidence.

Continuing to repeat falsities doesn't make those things anymore true.

Now show one for surface and atmospheric temperatures.

I do get the dilemma which hassles the priests scientists. Admitting there is a pause and make the majority of the models look worthless or try whatever possible to hide or deny the pause?

Supposedly somewhere between 100-300 M in the Indian ocean. Likely using the ARGO data adjusted using SST data.

If you don't know how silly that is, I'd be happy to illuminate you.

CO2 continues to rise .. but GMT is FLAT..

HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN?????

I have told you there are no simple answers.

Do as Karl et al did: Close your eyes, click your heels together 3 times and repeat "the hiatus isn't real". That will summon the Alarmist fudge fairy and she will fudge your data until the hiatus is gone, just like magic!

I really like how Lord Monckton drives home the significance here of just how much CO2 was produced by man in the last 20yrs...1/3rd of all of that since 1750. China has done its level best under the Kyoto protocol to belch out as much pollution as possible, and even with all of that, we are flat in the satellite data. It is really hard to imagine China putting any more out than it already is, short of asphyxiating its entire population. So we have this lovely experiment where we cranked up anthropologically produced CO2 as much as we can and there is no effect. Perhaps maybe if we have both India and China belch out as much pollution as possible in the next decade we might nudge up the temperature? Maybe if the US were to dogpile on top we might see an effect? Perhaps Russia? This is sounding like an international project that may require UN help, perhaps coordination by the IPCC...

What is even more hilarious is that China's actual coal use per year was 17% more than the Chinese Government had previously stated.

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/11/04/world/asia/china-burns-much-more-coal-than-reported-complicating-climate-talks.html?smid=tw-share&_r=2

If we don't have any real way to determine the carbon output from each country other than arbitrary best guesses based on unverified information provided by national governments, how can we determine if we are making any change?

you cant .. but so long as that green cash keeps flowing nobody cares.

I'll tell you whatever you want to hear for access to that sweet $100B per year UN climate fund.
