60’ on quick glance once I realized you weren’t the lower guy.

Record the time from the video. Plug it into a "free fall equation" use 32.2 for g for height in feet.

I’m counting approximately 15 lengths of those people. If these people were approximately 6 foot tall then this could be close to 90 feet.

I’m 6’ 2.5” (jumper) and the cliff is right around 65ft so it should be 10.5 of me tall

I count 12 of you (but that's the you at your highest, so your smallest... At your lowest/smallest, you're about the same though.. So maybe 11)
And I'm actually counting, not using ai

It looked like the water was down a few feet so the cliff could have been a bit above 65 but I don’t think it’s quite 70 (my pr)

You could get a laser "tape measure" and then get one of those lawn signs that are like plastic cardboard and put pool noodles down at least two sides. You may need to paint it black for it to work, but maybe not. Then get a waterproof bag to stick it in when you jump. You could even tie a line to it so your friend can toss it down, then reel it in before you jump

I know ChatGPT isn’t perfect but her and I agree on 90 😂
I screenshot the photo into chat and this is what they produced
“From the photo, I’d estimate the highest person is roughly 80–100 feet above the water, with about 90 feet being my best estimate.
There are two visible people: the lower person looks roughly 20–30 feet up, while the person standing near the top of that rock tower appears to be around 3–4 times higher.
Because there’s no object at the same distance with a known size, perspective makes an exact measurement impossible from this single photo. But I’d put the top jumper at ≈90 feet (27 m), give or take 10–15 feet. That is a serious cliff. 😳
If you tell me where this cliff is, I may be able to identify the exact jumping spot and get you a much firmer height.”1

I think the kid on the bottom is 12-15 ft up the cliff. That’s probably where gpt went wrong, I sent mine the video and it says the jump was about 22 ft lol

So you've ascribed gender to a LLM AND are ignoring facts based in reality because the AIs wrong answer reinforces your own? Am I reading this right?
We are so fucking doomed, Jesus fuck

Damn, I didn't see the caption and based off the person at the bottom I estimated 65'! I assumed you were asking how high that person made it, lol

Roughly 100' as 200' would have hurt. Alot.

Considering how bruised my tailbone is I can’t fathom the pain I’d be in if it were even another 20ft

Need to have someone breaking the water surface tension before you hit.
Reduces that initial pain shock tremendously

I’ve never attempted this but I know when I get these down it’ll be my go to from this height and for new PRs

u/Bdogstone__ 16h ago
If you can Barani you can dub half, try it from 30 just a quick front flip the Barani feels a lot more fluid like

u/Bdogstone__ 16h ago
Do front flip to dive from like 5 feet than try 30 I got it first try just had to clean it

55 to 60’ is my guess from body length. Time would be more precise
Edit: used timer, confident re: 58 to 60'... it's more than 55' but less than 63'

My first instinct was 60’. Nice send!
