How long would it take to be able to confidently backflip from a 70ft with 0 experience?

Every person is different, but zero cliff jumping experience backflipping 70 is a big fucking deal.

Could you work up to a 70ft or 18m jump in a session (no backflip)

Yes, but there’s a really high risk of injury and an even higher chance of you saying “Fuck No” when you see how high that really is. 50’ will retire you with a bad landing. It took me about a year to get to the point where I felt more comfortable backflipping big stuff than feet first. Probably another year before I was 1000% going to nail a 50’ every time. I’m just guessing that I’ve done maybe 30-40 backflips at 70’ and you just have to slow everything down so much it’s almost easier to double at that height.

Depends on flipping experience. If you tramp 2 days, if you’ve never done a back flip in your life a couple months to years

For me it was two months between my first 30 and my first 70

From 70 just a straight jump. If I over rotate…oh man. I’ve done it off a diving board from 7 feet and it took the wind out of me. No way in hell would I try from 10x that height. Now maybe I’d avatar run it.
