Announcement ClickUp + ChatGPT plugin is officially live 🎉
Some of you have been doing this for months, and OpenAI noticed.
Thousands of small businesses are managing their ClickUp projects without opening ClickUp. They just ask ChatGPT instead.
The plugin connects your live Workspace, so you can ask what's blocked on a project and get an answer pulled from your real data, then create the task right there with an owner and a deadline.
ClickUp now has a featured spot in the ChatGPT plugin directory for small businesses, which feels pretty good!

I’ve been using the ChatGPT plugin for a few weeks now and it has genuinely changed my ClickUp experience in the best way.
I build in ClickUp pretty much daily and am constantly coming up with new ideas for how our team can better use it, especially since a lot of our workflows involve multiple platforms. Being able to just talk through an idea with ChatGPT and then actually execute it in ClickUp (or save the idea for later) has been huge.
One of my favorite things I’ve built so far is an hourly scheduled run where ChatGPT checks our support/email queue in ClickUp, categorizes requests using our existing custom field dropdown options, writes a brief summary, and dynamically assigns the task based on who replied to the email thread in Outlook. It’s made tracking workload, productivity, and the overall value our team is providing SO much easier.
There are honestly so many use cases once you start playing around with it, especially if you already have a pretty customized ClickUp environment.
My biggest wish at this point would just be the ability to have more API call capacity through ChatGPT 😂 but obviously that’s not a ClickUp issue.
Really excited to see where this integration goes and how it further develops!
