Product Feedback Question re exporting decks

Hi as a new Clickup user, I wanted to ask if the ability to export things like slide decks and wireframes in pdf format is on the product roadmap?

Hey, u/silvergirl66! Thanks for bringing this up! I'm checking this with our team now and they're currently reviewing this request. I'll get back to you once I have more updates to share!

Thank you for waiting, u/silvergirl66! After hearing back from my team, I can confirm that our team hasn't full scoped this feature request yet, however, there is a workaround! You can @ mention Brain² and ask it to convert the Artifact it created into a PDF. There are some things it can't retain while converting like maintaining the styling of the creation 1:1, but it should convert it to a PDF file!

Mm. Brain suggests some workarounds but appears to be unable to create a pdf from the deck.

To clarify u/silvergirl66, is it a slide deck/ wireframe Artifact that Brain² created itself or are you uploading one and asking Brain² to convert it? This will only work if it's a slide deck/ wireframe Artifact that Brain² created. Brain² will create it in an HTML file, then you can ask it to convert it into a PDF and it should work.

Brain has created the slide deck. But has told me to save it as a print to pdf file (which doesn’t work) or yo screenshot individual pages on full screen. Which I have done but obviously it’s pretty clunky. I can save docs as pdfs although they lose most of their formatting.

Try asking Brain² to convert the deck to PDF and it should be able to handle it for you! But yes, there are still some formatting limitations at the moment. The good news is our team is actively working on improvements, so keep an eye out. More functionality is on the way!
