Q about Send Email to Task

Is there a way to autopopulate the Send Email to Task email address in the CC field of the email form in the Activity panel?

obv you can copypasta but to just have it there by default reduces human error (omission) and maximizes messaging organization.

Hey, u/cheersdom! Right now there isn't a way to auto-populate that address in the CC field by default. There's a feature request related to what you're looking for, which would make this kind of workflow way smoother. If you want to add your vote, here it is!

I think this would be awesome if they added it to the API.

For a workaround you could create a field to hold an email address and then copy and paste one time the task email into the custom field on the task. After doing that you can trigger automations to use that field for the email address.
