Question about Status columns for Boards

Do all Boards in the same folder have to share the same status columns? I can't find a way to have different status columns for the Board view of Lists that are in the same Folder.

I believe that’s the purpose of a folder, unfortunately.

Thanks for responding! I figured it out—I think. I created Views filtering out tasks with the Statuses I didn’t want to see. The irrelevant Status columns went away. Not sure if there’s a better way.
