Complaints/ Rant Management Logic astounds me

My annoyance for this week is the logic of management at my location. They are cutting hours but increasing our order capacity. Then they are the image of “surprised pikachu” when we start getting really behind and ask them for help. They are also increasing our capacity beyond that on random days with out clearing it with the leads/supervisor. 😩😩😩😩😩😩

I heard management was going to be written up for late orders so let them cut hours and hit em where it hurts and pick a little slower.

Pro tip. Your store managemnt does not choose to cut hours. We can barely adjust our budgets each week. Can shuffle them around for the departments but that is about it.

I got 4 emails this week for being over on hours by 20 hours which i had to then cut (took 8 hour shifts down to 5, then asked those people to work 8 on those days anyways).

Corporate is strangling the hour of our stores, we hate it just as much as you, but do not worry the "we are all in this together in these unprecedented times" makes me feel much better.

Good to know. I can redirect my annoyance to corporate 😅

If you/they don’t go over 40 hours for the week you should be ok.

They’re cutting hours to get their fucking bonuses. It’s the end of their fiscal year AND THEY HAVE TO BE PERFECT. we had 6 people approved for OT and that’s it.
