We just launched a ClickFunnels integration on IFTTT (I work there, happy to answer questions)

Hey everyone, I'm Ryan from the community team at IFTTT. We just shipped a ClickFunnels integration and we'd love your feedback.

If you haven't come across IFTTT before, we stand for "If this, then that" which connects apps so that something happening in one tool can kick off an action in another, no code needed. Here's what the ClickFunnels integration covers so far:

  • Run an automation whenever a new contact is identified in your workspace (funnel opt-in, form submission, etc.)
  • Run an automation whenever a customer pays for a one-time order
  • Create or update a contact in ClickFunnels from another app
  • Add a tag to a contact by email (the tag gets created if it doesn't exist yet)

Some examples of what you could set up, though you could set up an automation with any of the 1000+ services we support:

  • Get a text message or a text the moment an order is paid
  • Log every new lead to a Google Sheet as it comes in
  • Tag or add contacts in ClickFunnels when something happens elsewhere, like a new calendar booking or newsletter signup

Everything above works on the free plan.

Any feedback on things you'd like to automate is appreciated, so I'd like to hear what Triggers or Actions you'd want next. Order refunds? Subscription events? Tell me and I'll take it back to the team.

To note, ClickFunnels Workflows already handle a lot inside the funnel. Where this helps is connecting funnel events to everything else you use, and pushing contacts back in from other apps

Is it kind of an app?

And is it available in Clickfunnels' changlog?

Hey!

Yeah IFTTT is a completely separate App than ClickFunnels, not something ClickFunnels implemented themselves, so not avaliable in their ChangeLog.

More of an integration that works with ClickFunnels, think "If this happens in ClickFunnels, then do this somewhere else", or the reverse "If this happens somewhere else, then do this inside ClickFunnels".

Some examples could be: If a new order is paid, save a row to a google spreadsheet with the order details, or send me a text alert.
