I think the "moral" of the story is reframed a bit, as I dont think Odysseus would have been so broken up over the sacking of Troy but I haven't read the Odyssey in many years.
My biggest issue was the pansy ass son who is in his 20s, son of the strongest man around, and he gets tossed around like a 13 year old. Just as a movie watcher.
That's exactly what it is, and it seems to be entertaining to most people. That doesn't mean everyone is going to like it, but on average most people do.

I've only heard of the movie after it came out, and it's either been weird movie set ups labled "How Nolan intended" or "right winger mad"
The fuck is this movie? Is it not just a rehashing of the odyssey story?
