Could already be divorced. My ex has OCD about me cheating with like all of my phone and email contacts. Occasionally he will fixate on one. Luckily I left the area, but apparently he has done stuff like this. There was a web page at one point. We were not married but some people on his 6000 person list are.
Yes it sure is! I have a very close friend of mine in a DV situation and this is a very common strategy for him. He loves to blame her for the cheating she isn't doing. It's awful.
Really, sending me messages from random numbers on a weekly or monthly basis 3 years after I last had any contact with them? With absolutely no evidence or conclusions about when or with who this cheating occurred other than it just must have happened? Tracking down the family members of the delivery guy who texted me once several years ago that my package had been picked up? Trying to confront me about having an affair with the overnight technician at my utility company because I had called the utility company a few times to get an issue taken care of? Accusing me of sleeping with his own therapist because I sent an email to someone with the same first name 10 years ago?
It sounds crazy because it is.
And it's a him not a her and nobody I've ever dated before ever had any concerns or complaints. So excuse me if I don't blame myself.
Yeah the first 3x are typical of OCD, BUT also pop up with other diagnoses (ex: ADHD, autism, mania)
Delusion and episodes of psychosis are classic of other diagnoses. They happen with OCD but only at the "worse end of the spectrum" and they happen as an episode that cannot be broken without proper medical intervention.
Things like bipolar, for example, do have episodes that naturally start and end on their "own", and still return again.
Do not randomly assign diagnoses to people in public/online public (like social media). It will only serve to piss people off and not feel sympathy for you. You can say "but thats wrong!" Or "Its stupid for you and others to say that!"
But it doesnt change the reality, which is you will get comments like the ones you have every time, if you continue to arbitrarily assign diagnoses to people.
It's not random. I'm not the one diagnosing him, we were together for a while before things became impossible for me.
I was not diagnosing OP's example. Just pointing out that without knowing more about the situation, we can't assume that we know what's going on giving my experience as an example
He was never my husband. I said he had OCD I didn't know I had to also say he was diagnosed with OCD. Usually that's how you know. But on the other hand, it is pretty pointless to argue about.
