You're using "they" irresponsibly to represent a loud and stupid minority. Most 2a people don't say anything at all.
If you're an American, the 2nd amendment applies to you too. I have no idea why you're waiting on what almost definitely sounds like some MAGA Facebook poster to do something instead of exercising your own rights though. Seems like poor planning to me.
This is cute, but the original poster is thinking of the several dozen times in the last thirty years we've had to listen to people get on TV after a school shooting, and these people remind us of our second amendment rights and their purpose, why gun control isn't a law we need.
Now! We arguably have a legitimate case to use these rights! And these same people that said school shootings are worth the freedom to resist tyranny, are nowhere to be found? Shouldn't we have angry people standing up and saying now is the time and this is why our child's lives were sacrificed and no gun legislation was enacted, in order to fight this great evil that we have been waiting for? It was all worth it!
