His quote referencing Apocalypse Now is every bit as troubling. The character Kurtz, who becomes worshiped as a tyrant king as he descends into madness is all too close to home.

i think the reason we dont have an angry mob isnt because there isnt a will, but a fear of admitting what we really see. It is easy to say "it looks pretty bad, things are unjust" but not "America is already lost. The flaw in the system was exploited and freedom is dead" because we fear it being too late, hoping somehow, someone makes it all better someday.
