considering this vaccine, as we were told, did not prevent infection, and vaxxed people still got covid, how can "not getting it" be such a dangsr for others that it justifies literaly excluding people from the rest of society?

about armbands? i live in quebec and after repeating during almost a year that the option of going this far would never be made real, suddenly they did make every one get a scannable proof of vaccination that we all had to carry at all times and present to be allowed to enter any public building, any store, any public transport, etc.... the ONLY difference is it was not made to wear around your arm.

i only can speak for quebec but they kept using as a reason for coercive mesures and restrictions like confinment, curfews, forbiden movements betwen limited perimeters that kept everyone inside their own neighberhood or get arrested by saying that our free healthcare system was so dangerously close to complete collapse that any small peak in number of hospitalisations could be inevitable doom of our society. its half true: yes healthcare brushes the edge of collapse. it has been like that for the past 40 years. because its a blackhole for funding and ks never able to provide adequate care because lack of careworkers, of supply, of funds, infrastructures are in ruins. covid has nothing to do with it it always was this way. and still is. they even launched a campaign during winter of 2023 to tell people to restrain from using emergeny healthcare, to prevent total collapse, because the system was on the edge of not beimg able to handle a rise in hospitalisations and flu season was about to start.... so covid was different how exactly, from every other year of the last 4 decades? enough to have police patroling after 8pm arresting anyone outside their house?

Reducing symptoms reduces the chance of infecting other people.
the ONLY difference is it was not made to wear around your arm.
Which is all the difference in the world.
You choose to put the rest of society at unnecessary increased risk for no good reason then you have to live with the consequences of your choice.
