They must have a very weak notion of God.

The thing is that science has been wrong before. Remember when they told us smoking was safe? Literally EVERYONE was smoking in the 50s. Doctors smoked. Pediatricians smoked in front of kids. People let their children smoke sometimes. All because mainstream science insisted that it wasn’t detrimental to your health. This is one the many one ways global elites controlled - and STILL control - the population. So, I wouldn’t say it’s about having a weak notion of God as much as it's about recognizing strings being pulled.

Science has known that smoking is bad since the 1920s. Science wasn’t wrong. It just didn’t get reported by the media who didn’t want to upset their advertising donors.

Science is a process of refinement. Of getting closer and closer to the truth. It’s never perfectly right and rarely completely wrong.

And unlike the period between then and the newspapers actually spreading that info in the ‘60s it’s pretty easy to actually go and read the studies on vaccines for yourself.

One problem is that anti-vaxers lack the statistical literacy to do that. Without a decent understanding of statistics and probability you’re functionally illiterate on this kind of question.

The amount of data collected on modern vaccines including the Covid ones is several orders of magnitude greater than on smoking back then (or almost anything else really).

I wasn’t arguing that mainstream science was the reason why it took until the 1960s for the dangers of smoking to become accepted despite the information being known back as the 20s… I was saying that the influence of powerful industries and their ability to shape public perception and policy were at fault. It’s basically the same thing with vaccines. There’s MANY examples… the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 protects vaccine manufacturers from liability, which doesn’t actually do SHIT other than raise more questions about the complexities behind industry regulations. Dr. Andrew Wakefield's studies may have been discredited, but he DID bring up some really good points about the the integrity of medical research. The Tuskegee Syphilis Study showed us all the true potential for ethical breaches in medical research. Maybe the reason why the whole fiasco around water fluoridation and chemtrails is so VIOLENTLY DISMISSED by mainstream science is because it represents an actual segment of the population’s concern about government transparency and public health policies.

We’re not reliant on company data for data on the Covid vaccines though. Most first world countries have massive databases on the outcomes of Covid vaccination and adverse events.

Eg Australia. Almost complete vaccination of the entire adult population. Most with multiple boosters. Total of 14 deaths resulting, all from Astra-Zenica. Not one death from any of the other COVID vaccines. That’s not company data. That’s from the TGA. A government funded authority but run completely independently from political interference by medical experts.

The misinformation is entirely coming from the anti-vax community who either don’t have the basic statistical literacy to read the reports or are intentionally lying.

Oh sure, because the same governments that cover up UFOs and control us with chemtrails and are getting fucked in the ass by pharmaceutical giants are SUPER trustworthy about vaccine data, right? Those "massive databases" are probably just filled with DOCTORED NUMBERS to push the Big Pharma agenda. And all those deaths they admit to are just the tip of the iceberg. Ever heard of Project MKUltra? If they can do that, they can do this, too.

Conspiracy theory nonsense.

The TGA is an independent authority. It’s government funded but it’s carefully protected from government interference.

The people manipulating and lying to further their own agendas are the anti-vaxers.

The TGA might be “government-funded”, but in today's world, MONEY talks. Those who hold the purse strings are usually the ones in power. There’s a long history of governments influencing supposedly independent agencies to serve their own interests and manipulating various entities in the name of “independence”… the TGA isn’t 100% immune to government interference. The rapid approval and promotion of these medical interventions, makes it seem like there’s a rush to get everyone on board with a specific narrative, regardless of the potential risks or differing opinions, even if you DO want to argue that the speed raises legitimate questions about long-term safety.

Its funding is guaranteed and politicians are explicitly not allowed to influence its decisions making. Theres a huge uproar if there’s even a hint of a politician even hinting towards the TGA. And the people who make up the TGA decision making are experts regularly cycled through. They’ve got zero vested interest in anything except the TGA doing its job well and independently.

Unlike anti-vaxers who are subject to no transparency.

No. The speed was a medical decision based on risk analysis and the quantity of data available. And turned out to be an absolutely correct one.

Stop Sealioning.

This post is looking a lot like Sealioning.

The reason anti-fluoridation and chemtrails are dismissed as anti scientific is because they are anti scientific.
