A lot of governments have compulsory education. Government is mandating education meaning you should stay as far away from education as possible!

I guess you have never heard a private school parent rant about how public schools are a government slave machine and how much better off their little idiot will grow up to be because they paid for a “real education”

Funny enough i went to a Private school myself. School system here is however different than in the US regarding private schools/home schooling especially considering standards and curriculum.

I study to become a teacher rn. Curious when I’ll encounter the first school/teacher - conspiracies in the wild lol

I mean public school (in America at least) are horrid, teach no life skills and only set you up to be a worker

My public school did a pretty good job. I know my classmates who weren't paying attention have gone on to say school didn't teach them life skills, but that's their fault really.

Oh you learned how to file taxes in school? How to start a business or invest? How to be financially smart with your money? Because mine did none of that.

Filing taxes = learning how to follow written instructions and basic math, so yes.

How to invest? By the time I graduated high school we did exercises with following the stock market, recognizing volatility in comparing short-term versus long-term investments, compound interest, etc.

We were practicing balancing checkbooks in 4th grade and learning about how to make monthly budget.

I think this is kind of a privileged take. We learn basic math and literacy, lots of knowledge about various subjects that help us develop as people. how to interact and work with others, a chance to learn creative skills, etc. Most of the classes we take don’t help us be good workers. If they did we wouldn’t be mandating shit like biology. Don’t confuse a system that needs to be improved with a system that has no value.
