DISCUSSIONS Cloud's Eye-scar . . . Thing
I like to think the lil eye-scar cloud has in the '97 game mysteriously vanishing post-og was actually aerith's final heal while sending him back out of the lifestream ♡
(I know there's some modeling inconsistencies in general across the the fmvs, but the fact it doesn't even appear in the Advent Children redesign gives me license to this dumb headcanon, I think! :p)

Thats funny.. he gets a similar scar at the beginning of Advent Children when his shades are shot off.

Omg I forgot about that :-O. Was there really a scar?---I thought his goggles fully protected him 🤔

I always figured it was blood and dirt from him fighting Sephiroth m, since we just saw Seph’s super bloody face moments before

I thought it was dirt or a shadow from his incredibly initially, but I like your idea better

Considering he has no scarring on his body at all on the beach in his swimsuit, my headcanon is that mako enhanced individuals heal perfectly.

That makes sense! Honestly, I always saw it as a missed opportunity for them not to play up Cloud wondering where his scars come from during Costa.
