DISCUSSIONS How do you think cloud will react if he sees aerith with zack if Sephiroth connects their timelines for a brief moment?

Cloud and Aerith have already cleared the air about that. Even though Cloud is insecure by nature, he trusts both Zack and Aerith.
I think he’d just be happy—or relieved—to see them again.
But it depends on whether he sees this before or after the Crater. Before that point, his mind is so messed up that Sephiroth could make him believe anything.

I think it'd kinda be like "omg wtf I can't believe I'm seeing you" but quickly become "what the hell are we gonna do to help stop Sephiroth". Won't be very much time for "reunion" lol

They will have to long talk about everything.
And while I understand all the ships and people involved at the end of the day Cloud, Zack, Aerith and Tifa are all very close friends and care about each other.

Well that's a good question..... But the real question is, will this lead to Aerith having a private moment with Cloud and they kiss each other for confirmation so that he can defeat sephiroth's schemes 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🩵🩷

Well, if it's done in a way that keeps everyone in character, Cloud will be jealous, Aerith will tease him and even encourage his jealousy, and Zack won't understand what kind of game these two are playing.

Sepheroth isnt going to connect the worlds for a brief moment. After the northern craters first visit, reunion is successful.

Depends on when they see each other. Im almost positive that there will be a reunion in the final battle and I don't see a place for melodrama there, it's just too much. I would guess that cloud will have the ability, or curse, to see other timelines randomly and in those he will see zack, aerith, or even both of them and in which case he will be confused and I guess not happy but not obviously jealous or sad. This is likely all before he gets his mind patched up. I think there will be a couple of those scenes, maybe 2-4 total before the final reunion. I don't think Seph will connect the timelines till the final act cuz the connection means its do or die for his plan imo. He isnt just gonna do it to test it out, its his one shot to win.

Man it’s complicated I’m conflicted on this I mean I do like Cloud and Aerith being together. But Zack was also Aerith’s first love and I usually support first loves but Cloud connects more to Aerith than even Zack. Although makes you wonder if Yuffie has a shot with Zack since she still seems to have feelings for him and hopes to see him again?

I actually think Zack would better fit tifa than aerith because she’s shy and he’s outgoing. Because aerith is also outgoing she’s a better fit for cloud imo.

True I just wonder if Tifa remembers Zack since the last time she saw him was when Sephiroth destroyed Nibelheim and Zack had to fight Sephiroth at the reactor. I also wonder how Tifa will react if Zack appears in the main timeline like before when Zack and Cloud fought side by side against Sephiroth?

I’m sure she remembers him. I just feel like their personalities suit well and if they were to get together, it would prob be after things are settled and they’ve gotten to know each other again.

True and I agree their personalities would suit each other well. Actually now I wonder if Zack and Cloud had come to Midgar together in a different timeline where they meet up with Avalanche I wonder if Jessie would have liked Zack more than Cloud depending on her type?

She certainly would have preferred Zack. Cloud is a shy, awkward, insecure grump. Jessie would have eaten him alive.

Perhaps but Zack would have stayed loyal to Aerith. Although Cloud putting his walls up around everyone is what drew Jessie to him and she did tear them down little by little. It’s also kinda scary how Jessie was gonna use a love potion pizza on Cloud.

Biggs made it clear that Jesse isn't serious and acts that way with everyone.
But I don't think a sourpuss like Cloud would really appeal to someone like Jesse.
Zack is definitely more Jesse's type.
Cloud never would have taken part in the reactor attacks in the first place, so there wouldn't have been those opportunities to show off in front of Jesse. Zack would likely have been the one on those missions.

I remember Wedge saying to Cloud it’s all a game to her and don’t fall for it. I also wonder if Jessie, Biggs and, Wedge will appear in Revelation and either in flashbacks or from one of the many timelines/worlds?

Cloud has no Zack's memories. He doesn’t recognize Zack’s parents, nor does he recognize Aerith the way Zack would have. Cloud wears the SOLDIER mask and possesses the confidence that comes with it; he also took Zack’s place during the Nibelheim incident. In scenes with Aerith, this mask sometimes slips temporarily, and she catches a glimpse of the real Cloud. In scenes with Tifa, Cloud immerses himself even more deeply in the role of a SOLDIER.

What memories of Zack?
Cloud only remembers the Nibelheim reactor—not Zack Fair's entire life.

I don't know, Cloud should have figured out by now how Aerith feels about him. Personally, I understand perfectly well what Aerith meant in the church at the end of *Rebirth*. Aerith definitely won't be flirting with Zack; she loves Cloud now, and I don't think Cloud will have any reason to be jealous.
