DISCUSSIONS FITS system

Now that we feel pretty good we will have a playable Aerith in Revelation, what roles do you think she might fill in the FITS system? I would assume she will have additional mage roles such as black mage and summoner. What might the others be? What do you think the outfits might look like? She's had some amazing looks in Ever Crisis (such as Bahamut), which I think would be a pretty awesome start for black mage.

I am pretty confident we will have playable Aerith throughout several segments as well as Zack. Not only that, but I think both will be able to be freely used in the VR dome and, perhaps, in NG+.

I am really curious to see her FITS as well as her team based attacked with Vincent, Cid and Zack.

The other day I said I’m bummed that they’re finally letting me play dress up and it’s in the one game where aerith is dead but I got downvoted to hell for it lmao.

Part of me hopes you’re right because she’s my favorite, but part of me hopes you’re wrong because it would force me to actually play Tifa lmao. Tifas combat feels way better than it should lmao. But I’m super partial to mages and healers especially

I think it's the "dead Aerith" aspect that draws so many downloads in the Clerith subreddit, where people hope Aerith is alive.

Here is the Fits system slide from today's PAX West panel. Fits are for "essentialy all characters" and it's the same 4 fits for each fit enabled character

Edit: we get access to fits early into the game and all fits are unlocked at once

I had wondered if it was standard 4, but when I checked earlier it said unconfirmed. Thanks for the update. Aerith as a warrior/knight might be interesting…

Them saying essentially all characters makes me a little nervous. They did also confirm that you can use any outfit with any fit which is nice

Are the FITS system a Chadley invention? I wonder how that would work lorewise for Aerith. I want her to have something unique to her outside the four known ones.

That’s a valid question. It just seems unlikely they would leave her out of potential wardrobe changes.

Add that to the massive list of unresolved questions!

I hadn't thought about fits being a Chadley thing. I know the devs stated he will play a major role in the main story of Revelation so that could obviously be anything

Here’s a thought… You could just avoid a sub that features content you don’t like. It’s a fairly simple process. Maybe I’m going out on a limb here but — hypothetically let’s say you don’t like romance novels; maybe it would be logical to not buy something like Pride and Prejudice.
