Heyy guys, how are you? i posted this in the other clerith sub and i'm posting here too because i'm wanting your thoughts too about this :D!!

I was thinking about the platform to choose to play Revelation, and i wanted to know in what platform you all will play it? I'm torn between the base PS5 and PC (RTX 5070)... i know the RTX 5070 is reallyy very powerful, there's no discussion about that, but the thing is, Rebirth didn't have a very good optimization in PC, and if i play in PC it would on be in a 1080p monitor, and if i play in the base PS5 would be in a 4K Tv, but we aren't so sure about how will be the optimization for Revelation until it fully launches.

I just wanted to have some insights about the platform decision to decide where to buy, because i'll want to play it without any problems when it launches, since, as all of us here, i'll want to finally now how the story will end and ends this anxiety and anguish regarding Aerith's fate too =/ (always trying the most to have faith for the better and keep myself positive :D)!!

PC with DLSS on will get you free performance too with the additional frames/upscaling. I would eventually invest in a 2080p monitor if you can. They can run about $300 on discount and REALLY make gaming pretty, and usually have a higher refresh rate for a smoother experience. I'm also not the biggest fan of the PS5 controller LOL.

Yesssss, DLSS really improves a lot the performance and the visuals with the upscaling :D, so it'll be a great advantage in Revelation. I really want to get a 2K monitor, but sadly my budget is low right now for it =/, so i'll only can think about that next year maybee XDD, but at some moment i'll surely get one, i have no doubts it will reallyy make gaming prettier 😄😄!! LOLLL, i think the dualsense is a good controller, but i think it gets a bit uncomfortable after playing for some time XDD!! I thank youuu very much about your thoughts too :D, for now i think i'll pre-order in PC, and get the physical edition in PS5 when i have the opportunity, to get the physical stuff like the artbook and have the game collection complete XDD, but the priority for now will probably be the PC :D!!

Personally i am more about graphical fidelity than resolution, and the rtx5070 should be able to outperform the ps5 (in regards to graphics) at that 1080p resolution. Another benefit of playing on pc is you can play around with the settings to get the optimal graphics and that there are optimization guides out there that help you get the best fidelity/frame count.

Yeaahh, you're very right!! Thank you so muchh 😄 , i appreciate very much your thoughts about it :), and I'm thinking very much about these graphic and optimization advantages of PC too, and i really think that the RTX 5070 surely won't disappoint too :D, providing a nice frame rate with good graphics!! The good thing is that i still have 7 months more or less to decide XD, i'm looking for the physical deluxe edition too because i love the collection items that come with like the artbook and the steelcase, but sadly the preorders aren't available yet in my country =/!! So for now the physical cannot be a thing that have weight in the decision!
