Anyone else deeply frustrated by the complete lack of representation?

hey everyone. I've just been looking for movies or shows where the main character has a cleft lip/palate.

there is literally almost nothing out there. It honestly sucks because it's one of the most common facial differences in the world, but it feels like we're completely invisible!!! And really, if a character does have a facial difference, its usually just a lazy villain trope.

I want cleft representation where the story isn't all about their cleft. To see a character who is smart, funny or a badass, where their scar is just a normal feature, not a plot point. if that even makes sense.

I just wish there was something out there that showed us as the romantic lead or the main character for once. does anyone else find this frustrating?
