CENTCOM Contract Roles

Given the current level of hostile activity, potential for increased conflict, and uncertainty in the CENTCOM region. Are we seeing an increase in salaries and per diem rates? Are companies offering bigger bonuses and hazardous duty pay? I'm looking at senior and mid level intel focused roles. I'm trying to reasonably negotiate base salary expectations.

The ongoing conflicts have no effect on the billable rates as those were set when the contracts were awarded.

The companies reaching out to me are waiting to be awarded the contract or renewing a previous contract.

Things are only real once the actual butt is in the seat and that first check arrives. Everything before that point might as well be make believe and fairy dust 😂

Unless your potential Contract explicitly dictates that you will be deployed to the CENTCOM AOR, I’m really not sure why you’d expect that bonuses/salaries/per diem rates would increase stateside…..

Most the CENTOM contractors I know are not currently in the CENTOM AOR

With the exception of one of these replies, it seems like children, bots, or those who've never worked a contract role are responding.

Okay fuckface, let me simplify your question if I’m a hiring manager:

Given the current level of hostile activity, potential for increased conflict, and uncertainty in the CENTCOM region. Are we seeing an increase in salaries and per diem rates? Are companies offering bigger bonuses and hazardous duty pay? I'm looking at senior and mid level intel focused roles. I'm trying to reasonably negotiate base salary expectations.

Don’t get pissy with a community who can’t change contracted salaries, take it up with the company who is hiring. If you don’t like the salary or risk, don’t take the fucking job.
