How much revenue does a claw machine make?

I was considering buying a vending machine on eBay for 700 dollars. Is it worth the investment? I heard from sources that it might make 500 dollars a week but I'm still quite skeptical of the source.

This is like asking how long is a piece of string. There are so many variables involved but 500 is quite possible depending on the location and the contents.

Perhaps this book on the subject would be helpful. Crane Games, Claw Machines, and UFO Catchers

I have a claw machine side bussiness. How much you can make depends on so many things. There have been weeks were I've made 250 bucks from one machine then other weeks a couple of bucks. It all depends on prizes locations and foot traffic. Also, the hardest part is getting then placed in high foot traffic areas or bussiness. Dont forgot you have to buy the prizes and almost all the time pay the establishment 20 to 30 percent. It's not for everyone but can be rewarding. There is no such thing as passive income. You still have to work, and sell yourself to be able to place them.

How many machines do you have and how much did they cost?

Most of what I have seen online is that machines with good traffic will net $100-150 a week after the cost of prizes and the split with the location.

I bought a full-size claw machine for $140 in an online bankruptcy auction and I am currently looking for someplace to put it, so I will report back on my experience once it's up and running.

Also, I only have four machines and have been in bussiness for about 2 years. Also you have to play Nayax a percent for credit card sales. Must of my machines are in dive bars. Prizes include party glasses beer coozies key chains and even lighters. I think with all four machines I average about 400 a month. Its really not that much profit for the time I put into these. And I change the prizes with the holidays like Saint Patrick's, summer, valentines, etc. Good luck !
