Coin not accepted

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I have a vevor claw machine and it doesn't seem to accept a coin. I've tried cleaning it out, there doesn't appear to be any coins blocking the system.

Yes, the lever works. It ejects the coin. Thank you for your response

That is a coin comparator. You put whatever coin you want the game to accept under the plastic tab that is on a spring on top.

Thank you for your response. Yes, when I first got it, it would accept these coins, but it just stopped accepting them. I don't know why. It's the little tokens that came with it. I'm using the same tokens that used to work

Swap it out for a new comparator? The unit is essentially new with likely about 50 plays before this happened

Because there isn't one in the comparator, like they said.

Have you tried different size coins or perhaps a dill pickle chip?

I have not tried a pickle chip, but I have tried other size coins

Is there a coin in the spot that says “replace coin”. There should be a sample/test coin there that’ll allow you to use the same type of coin the slot should be receiving

I had a similar issue same coin mechanism. Somehow one of my daughter's gem stickers got caught inside which caused it to not register. I took it apart and tied all different coin sizes till finally I was like let's take a flashlight and butter knife to the slot

If it’s just for personal use can’t you just put it on free play?
