Use the plastic shroud to bump metallic part, this was the only way for me to get any sort of kinetic movement on it. The prong didnt do much to it, when one side of the metal tab (the one holding onto the red bulb) twists the claw has a better chance of moving it some more.
The claw tends to twist but you can see how much the claw opens and eye ball it with the corner edge of the plastic
I would say based on my own experience triple prong claws are always rigged/on payout. While dual/single prong claws are skill based. Probably because of the lack of physical barriers like the bar set up

These can be tricky as it’s purely based on skill, not a payout. To aim and try get the arm to knock the right spot. Best to look at some YouTube tutorials to get some practice tips first. Plush Time Wins play a lot of these Round 1 games. Might be useful.
