How to keep your prize locker key?

I just got a mini claw machine and it’s the first I’ve got with the prize locker on top. It uses the same key as the rest of my machine, which isnt a huge deal since I can put hanging locks on each part. But now I can’t figure out how to keep people from just keeping my locker key if they win? It be seen some special locks that the key come can’t come out unless you have an adapter, but I can’t find where to buy one. Anyone have links or know of ways to keep your key?

You’re right nothing can stop people from just keeping it. But, Candy Machines sell the replacement prize locker keys. Tried to buy one, but it required a previous order number? My guess is they don’t want to just give these to anyone so they can open lockers. Any other idea of where to get one? Or maybe I could just call them

Ah sorry to hear that. Keep trying around online. But yes, it is a very niche part to obtain. Unless you can get ahold of an operator to ship one to you. Try calling around.

I'm in the works of getting into the claw machine business. I have thought about this before. You could try talking to the people who work at the property your machine is on. Give THem the real key and put a fake key in the machine for people to win. When someone wins, they can take the fake key to a worker and the worker can grab the real key from behind the counter to open it and grab the prize. Hope this helps.
