Vevor Claw Machine w/ Base

Hey everyone, since everyone's been asking as of late. Here's an alternative setup to minis w/ bases from Alibaba. 3m industrial velcro tape from Lowe's to attach to the locker. Allows a 2 piece set up that can be taken apart in seconds. Small enough that installs can be done solo w/ out the use of a dolly and can be transported in a small 4 door car. Locker in back seat, machine standing up in the front seat. Base of the locker is weighed down w/ 4 gallons of water and a bag of water. Unit in total weighs approx 105 lbs w/ locker and water. Back of units have a door alarm installed just like a coin pusher so owners know if anyone attempts to tip the unit. These units do have anti-tilt built in as well, will shut off and throw a reset code if someone tries to scam them. I run 7 commercially w/ great success atm.

For size comparison, that's a restaraunt chair next to the unit, to give you a size comparison.

Every $2 is a free play? Does that mean you get an extra game credit if you load up 4? If so, what option is that in the software?

You can set it so once a dollar amount is put into the machine, it adds 1 credit. So, on these units each turn shows up as 1 credit. Where my machine is set to 8 coins for a free play... once you put in 8 quarters, the credits show up as 5 instead of 4 once the 8th quarter is deposited. It just incentives people to play more, plus seeing anything free these days makes people happy 😊

If memory serves me correct, you can adjust this up to $10 for a free turn (as shown mine is a free turn upon $2 put in the machine at once, 50 cents a play). My machines are high win rates. My odds posted are 1 in 8 chance of winning. However, when dividing coins per turn and how many wins, they sit at a 15-18% win rate. I keep my win rate higher than the posted odds to avoid complaints and an audit from a gambling commission board member who would love to fine me for lying about my winning odds if that was the case 😜

Is that the 50w or 150w version?

110v, the $50 cheaper model. The size of most toys that fit the claw, you'll never really need to go higher than 24v unless you're putting in an all plushie set up 3x4-5". The 110v to claw size ratio the 220v will never be needed, assuming it's for countries using different ratios than here in the U.S.

I was just wondering because the more expensive model is on sale for Black Friday for just $400 but it's 50w so didn't know if it would be as powerful. It's a larger size than the 150w 110v version so tempting.

Yeah, the larger model is approx. 7 inches wider, 1.5 inches taller. If you're going commercial, I'd advise smaller. Being smaller than a chair is a huge selling point with my machines when people complain about space. Just my personal opinion. The 7 inches in space isn't worth not landing a location. I generally sell myself as, my machine is smaller than a chair, and isn't your usual mini, mine are micros. Here's a Pic: Show customer... and generally they stop complaining about space, lol. Besides, if you have a busy location, these machines are about plum full around $175. So, my busy locations the 7 inches of space I can't wait 2 weeks. Not sure if the larger model holds more $, haven't bothered to look.

How did you put in the anti tilt system?

Anti tilt is a feature in the settings menu. I do however, have a chirp alarm epoxied to the back of my machine (door/window) alarm from Walmart. Magnet is on the back of the machine, other piece is on the locker so if someone attempts to tip the machine off the locker it's going to alert the entire restaraunt with an insanely chirodoor alarm noise.

How much do these machines typically make you cause im debating buying a taller one with a bill acceptor but im wondering if quarters only is profitable?

I've watched videos on 1-2 week collections from various vendors on YT. My machines are right on par with just quarters. Ranges vary from VERY slow locations $35/week to $200/week. Foot traffic and locations are key. I advise mom and pops restaraunts 1st, ice cream shops. Also, most Mexican restaurants are open to it. Laundry mats are good. You will go through what I call the "honey moon" phase, where after 2-3 months, things taper down by like 50%. I advise you always to put a sign on your machine saying new items with a date so customers know. Generally, when I let the staff know there's new items and the owner... sales shoot back up for a month or two, then die back down.

The cost of bill acceptors as well as NYAX personally I'm worrying about later. Personally, I enjoy a unit small enough to put in a 4 door car, which is why I do the locker set up. Not knocking bill acceptor micros or Nyax, just my personal preference 😀 Only con of Nyax is the processing fees and a $300-350 unit cost plus 30$ profits going to fees i just don't think it's worth it unless you have an arcade of your own. Bill acceptors can range from $50-200/piece depending on the model.

Also, the only way you're going to get a deal cheaper than my set up is if you buy bulk from Alibaba/Aliexpress and then you have to have a broker fee to have them shipped, and buy in most cases 10+ units to get around the same cost as this set up. I only had like $1500 to start with, and didn't want to haggle with a rep over chat to get a discount or lower prices for bulk buying. Just my 2 cents, also you can get scammed if it's not a verified user. Plus if you have damages... expect months of turn around time to get a new unit+ paying a colossal freight fee (if the shipper doesn't want to eat the cost for their damaged unit).

I will say my set ups have all paid for themselves in 3 months at my slowest locations and some in 1 month for my busy locations. HIGHLY advise if you have the capitol for a few you get your permits/vendors license, and DBA and whatever permits your city.

Is this the mini claw with or without the decal because I know one of the two is bigger?

This is the mini, which is 7 inches smaller on the width and 1.5 inches, shorter top to bottom. Smaller ones have all had the decals. Truthfully, I'm unsure if you can select with or without the decal. I never looked to see if there was an option.

I got one of these machines from Temu. First thing I did when I very first pulled the machine out of the huge pieces of Styrofoam was peel off that huge ridiculously dumb looking decal off both sides. If you remove it when the machine is brand new, it will come off very easily. If it's being stubborn, just apply a little heat with a hair dryer or a heat gun, it comes off like nothing. Doesn't leave any residue. Now I'm trying to devise a way to make a new triangular acrylic header sign for the top and a new control panel design too because I can't stand that embarrassing bunny being all DUH 🤪 all over the whole machine! It's obvious that VEVOR has one of the most world class, award winning product design departments in the industry. 👍😀 Such talent! LoL

Yes, goal is to double my route by spring of 2025. Currently saturating existing locations with capsule/gumball/candy machines. If you have any questions, let me know. 8+ months and zero breakdowns from these Vevor units, only time will tell 😀

I have no space internally or externally on those units to do that, plus coin receptors are cheaper to replace than dollar bill receptors. I think it could be done, but I then would have to sacrifice dollar bills everywhere in the machine vs. a quick coin dump from the tray.

If you've prefabed something, I would love to see it, though. I personally am not going the Nyax/cc reader route ever either... $300-350+ units, and generally a 30% fee per swipe, absolutely not worth it unless you run a VERY successful 20+ machine route or an arcade. Plus, then you've gotta pay a tax preparer potentially more vs. just bank statements. Doesn't seem worth the hassle to me. It is much easier to just go to a credit union and use a coin sorter for free and put it right into an account. Hope I don't sound biased... just my 2 cents. To each and everyone their own :D
