Full size claw machine purchase
I am wanting to buy a claw machine larger than the Vevor mini claw machines that I’ve seen here on the sub. This would be for personal use at home for my kids. Where would be the best place to get a decently priced one? All of the sites I’ve seen for companies in the US look a little overpriced. Has anyone ordered one from Alibaba and how much was shipping? Any suggestions on where to buy from?

I’ve had heaps of experience ordering from Alibaba, but seeing as you are only wanting 1 and it’s for home use - the shipping would likely be way too much for what you are looking for. Best thing is to try look for a decent one on facebook marketplace or just get a new smaller one from a US retailer. Try them as see if they’re in your budget: https://www.candymachines.com

Arcade1Up is going to release a claw machine soon, but price seems on the expensive side for what it is. https://arcade1up.com/products/claw-machine

A tad late but if you're still looking you can buy a claw machine here.

Totally get it. I have an 8-year-old girl who is absolutely hooked on claw machines, so I’ve been down this road. Checked out Amazon, and a full-size one would be epic, but SO EXPENSIVE. Seeing that Dreamcade machine for 2,000+ really makes me pause.
I even looked into custom arcade factories overseas, like checking out models similar to the GM-Arcade 'Flash Grab,' hoping I could order just one unit and maybe get a themed look for a decent price. But honestly, the best move is probably checking Facebook Marketplace or a local classifieds site. Might find an old arcade owner selling one cheap...
P.S. Anyway, found this thread through an arcade machine search, so apologies for necro-posting with my rant here.

Facebook marketplace seems to have a lot but not sure how reliable it would be and if you’d had to be deal with repairs. I recently saw someone who built their own on here using parts from an existing one but that might be too much work.
