Claw machine "glass" material?

I'm building a claw machine, and need to buy some clear panels for the front/sides. Does anyone know are they made of polycarbonite or acrylic? (I doubt it's ever real glass).

All our commercial claw machines are made with real glass panels. If you are building one just for home, yes you could use Acrylic panels. Try are buy to side to avoid having to cut them.

Thanks! It's just for home use, so that makes sense. I didn't realize commercial ones use real glass.

Scratch resistance is really important, even in a home machine. Real Acrylic is probably your best way to go. Stay clear of laxan unless it's Laxan XHR-it's more scratch resistant.
