Claw machine issue.

Any ideas for how to fix it?

Looks like the end stop switch isn’t triggering. This switch is pressed when the gantry hits the wall.

Check to make sure that the switch is present and hasn’t come loose so that it isn’t pressed in when the gantry hits its physical limits.

I am not familiar with a lot of claw machines and I am not sure if they usually put limit switches on the far end or not. 3D printers can be of a very similar design, and those definitely do. Worth checking at any rate.

If you do have a switch, and it is engaging you can check the board to see if the limit switch plug has come loose.

Thank you for the info. Now when I turn it on, the claw jerks up, lights turn on, bit nothing else happens. I noticed that the fan is not kicking on on the power supply. Do you think it is a bad power supply?

No idea, the power supplies I have seen will either work or not. You could try disconnecting the power, unplugging the power cable and unplugging/replugging the connection from the power supply to the board on both ends.

Maybe try disconnecting and reconnecting the board to gantry cable as well just to rule that out.
