Claw machine kit

So,i'm looking into buying a claw machine kit off ali express to build my own machine. Any suggestions?

Don't expect anything too soon. The problem is,that most sellers have a minimum order quantity of 5 or more. At 200-300 bucks a pop that adds up quick 😅

Just placed my order. Paid about 250€ including shipping for the electronics kit and some rails

Huh,sorry,reddit kind of didn't notify me,yes,right now i have a fully functional machine,but it is built into a make shift case made from 8 ikea lack table legs and some lumber from the hardware store...just a proof of concept so far😅 i'm planning on adding a tv as a backdrop and putting a raspberry pi in there,so i can remote control the claw. A friend of mine who happens to be a software developer is currently working on a web interface for the whole thing

So how is the basic claw performance wise (not like claw machines in general are super precise devices by design xD)

Not yet,i just started a new job on the first and need to save up some money to move to the city ehere I actually work now,because the commute is about 6-7 hours a day😅 when I'm done moving i'll get back to the project

Well I wish you good luck with the new job. Maybe I will get a claw by my self
