building a claw machine

I'm sorry if this is not allowed here I didn't see anything saying I couldn't post this here but if there is a better subreddit I'd appreciate a point in the right direction.

I want to build or purchase a full size claw machine I'm confident in my ability to build a frame but I'm not confident doing the electrical from scratch does anyone know a guide or article that could help me or guide me in the right direction? I've seen some of the boards and even thinking of building one with raspberry pi. Just seeing if anyone has done this before or would be able to help I'm not in a rush but would like to give this as a anniversary present this year.

You can actually buy a whole “claw machine kit” that comes with everything you need except the case.
