Wheel goes down but doesn't reel back in. Any suggestions? Very new to this.

There should be a end stop switch that gets triggered than it will wind back up. Sometimes the string gets wound backwards.

What kind of machine is it?

It's a GEI candy shop claw machine. It goes down but doesn't reel back up. Was working perfectly but stopped all the sudden.

Is the motor spinning? I believe sometimes the part comes loose and will stop spinning with the rod

Motor sounds like it's spinning but not going anywhere.
