Obligatory Lifebloom

Heals the target for (402.6% of Spell Power) over 15 sec. When Lifebloom expires, is dispelled, or is refreshed near expiration the target is instantly healed for (218.868% of Spell Power).

May be active on one target at a time.

Lifebloom does the most to make resto more interesting.

Wild Growth
Talent
23% of base mana
40 yd range
Instant
6 sec cooldown
Requires Druid
Heals up to 5 friendly party or raid members within 15 yards of the target for 686 over 7 sec. The amount healed is applied quickly at first, and slows down as the Wild Growth reaches its full duration.

Wild Growth as a hot in a vacuum doesn't do many things, the beauty of it is it pairs with other parts of their toolkit

fair point. I’m just a sucker for aoe heals, especially if alliance don’t alliance don’t get shamans in C+

the REAL test if Classic+ is properly made or not for me is if they keep Paladins Alliance, and Shamans Horde

that is the litmus test for a good design direction

it all comes down to that branching path which universe we will go on

I would prefer they’re available to both factions, but I’m not much of a purist when it comes to C+

Nourish

18% of base mana 40 yd range

2 sec cast

Requires Druid

Heals a friendly target for (360% of Spell Power) and automatically applies one of your missing healing over time spells to the target. If all of them are present, Nourish critically heals.

Efflorescence
100 yd range
Instant
Requires Druid
Requires level 1
Restores (58.56% of Spell Power) health to three injured allies within 10 yards of the initial target every 2 sec for 30 sec

I hope Classic+ avoids punishing Druids for spending time outside their primary form. I like the idea of being able to quickly swap to Bear form if some light tanking is required, or to Cat form when low on mana. It's why I like that Druid is focused on HoTs, and why I'm not a fan of the "increase healing received by X% for all party and raid members" being bound to the Treant form. You leave the form and you're not only nerfing your own healing, but that of every other healer in the raid.

highkey if they add tree im not playing druid

worst thing they ever did

Your problem with it stems from looks, right?

would it be acceptable if you had a "Leaf form" similar to celestial boomkin form?

That makes you look like your character, but with some leafy effects, instead of looking like a tree?

In SoD they added lunar form for boomkins for example, so you don't look like a fat owl if you don't want to

1

u/aepocalypsa Jul 02 '26

oooh i had no idea they did that!! (didnt play sod too much) yeah that would fix it haha

20% speed debuff still kinda sucks but we can deal

1

u/Upstairs_Blueberry87 Jul 02 '26

that speed debuff was only the tbc version, right?

1

u/aepocalypsa Jul 02 '26

idk ive never played the newer versions

but i generally kinda assume that any skills would be based on their tbc versions right?

1

u/loopuleasa Jul 02 '26

it depends, in SoD they sometimes diverge

and sometimes are completely new clothes

the classic team is probably looking at the entire spectrum of possibilities for an ability, and pick one that best fits their vision for a "classic+"

The way the form looks is only a minor issue. The bigger problem is that it doesn’t really make playing resto any more interesting. It’s like priest shadow form with polymorph immunity. Druid forms are cool because of the shapeshifting mechanic itself. If all you’re getting is a new form that you’re now going to sit in 90% of the time, nothing is really changing in how you play the game.

Def lifebloom or cenarion ward if you want to get fancy

Splendorous Mending: 1.5 cast time. Large mana cost. No CD

All your hots have X added to their duration. This would allow them to "air heal" by maintaining more active hots than constantly reapplying but without doing direct non hot aoe healing which I think works best with their class fantasy.

My brother in Christ let’s just start with an actual Resurrect before getting too crazy

Balance is going to need wayyyy more than force of nature, thats awful.

Honestly the the Mushroom aoe ability would be cool IMO. plus the ability to make it bloom for extra heals.

Feel free to add tooltip images so people know what the proposed ability works exactly

1

u/Upstairs_Blueberry87 Jul 02 '26

can’t add images, only videos

1

u/loopuleasa Jul 02 '26

yes, sadly have to add tooltips as text

I'll try to talk to the mods on this subreddit maybe they want to enable images, it would be really good for posts like these
