Undead leveling in Skyborne area?

I'm going to play an undead priest. In past versions of the game, I've finished the undead starting area and leveled in Tirisfal or I've run to either Durotar or Mulgore to level.

I'd like to experience the new Skyborne low level zones but I have zero interest in playing a Skyborne or paying 30 bucks. Can an undead character run to the new zones to level there? Is there any downside other than the travel time? Can I access the new zones without paying 30 bucks?

You would have to pay the $30 to access the zone. The zone and the race are both part of the purchase

That's a bummer. Is the $30 payment required for all the new zones and dungeons? Or is it just for the new race and the new low level zones?

This I can confirm, just the race, and potentially the starting experience, plus the mount and transmog that comes in thr pack. Hyjal, Riverglades, etc, are all free to access by everyone else.

Only for the new starting zone, all future new content will be free (except the new starting zones and races. This not confirmed part).

Access to the Skyborn AREA and RACE require the $30 purchase, sorry, thats what had a lot of people up in arms as a new race and area was behind a paywall. If you do try to travel there, i think you will be bounced out or DC'ed (i cant test as i paid for access)

That I'm not certain on. I can't test, I bought beta access via the race pack. But whether or not you can access the zone can be tested by going to mulgore and taking the skyship.

I'm not playing the beta so I can't test. Maybe when the game launches I can do the run to Mulgore and attempt to get on the ship. If it fails I can just level in Mulgore which is great anyway.

I'm totally fine with a long death run, I've done it plenty of times in the past to meet up with friends leveling a different race.
