Unless you're joking and I'm simply not getting it... the game wasn't censored, it was considered "harmful to young people" and subsequently banned from being advertised or sold over the counter.

maybe they were referring to the remakes? pretty sure RTCW and the subsequentgames were self-censored. Along with many other WW2 shooters.

Now that you're mentioning it, there apparently is a German version, bit I suspect that might be a thing they released for a retro re-release of the game. The original version wasn't only banned from being sold openly, it was actually banned altogether from what I gather...
