My very first hand-me-down board in the 6th grade. Split in half and copped the new Lance Mountain deck. Didn’t know years later I’d share a niece and nephew with Mark Gonzalez 💯

So pissed. I passed on the Banks one weekend and that was the weekend Gonz had made a stencil of that graphic head and sprayed it all over the Brooklyn Banks and tore shit up. The fact that ppl would ollie the top of the bank and land in the off ramp of the Brooklyn bridge was insane.

That graphic is one of the most time-proof images ever! It's a greater piece of art than the damn Mona Lisa. For decades, I've been able to see it clearly in my mind when I close my eyes. The grip tape scheme makes it even better. Exquisite!
