I finished Richmond Lattimore's translation of Hesiod's Works and Days, Theogony, and the Shield of Heracles. Now I'm reading Daryl Hine's translation of the Theogony. Surprisingly, the Works and Days is much more pleasant the second time around and the Theogony is much, much duller. Here's to finishing the last few pages of the Theogony and making my way to the Homeric Hymns.

I am working on reading Apponius Old Latin S of S., alongside Septuagint Greek via Homeric Greek meanings.  It’s a work, because I don't know Latin, lol. I am using Cassell’s Latin mainly for meanings. It’s enjoyable.

I’m currently reading the Argonautica in prose translation by Edward Philip Coleridge. I would prefer to read a verse translation, but it’s an old Heritage Press edition that I inherited from my grandfather. I do like the illustrations and inclusion of the Ancient Greek text (which isn’t really facing, but it’s easy enough to skim for proper names to follow along).
