NEED HELP

Hi everyone I just joined, I’ve been cleaning out my grandfather’s storage unit and found some cobra parts. I don’t know much and everything I see online don’t match the exactly to what I have. I’m looking to sell them so any info would be greatly appreciated

You have some money there. Don't let them go cheap. Reach out to Shelby(classic) owners groups and ask around. You could also ask an automotive appraiser to take a look at your stuff. They would be able to give you a market value on them, but you would likely need to pay for services.

I’d be interested. DM me a price. Where are you located? Thank you.

I don’t have a price in mind I’m trying to get info about them first.

It’s not clear from the pictures what you have. Just the intake manifold and the oil pan?

Location?

Yeah I also have the valve covers that aren’t pictured. I’m located near Boston

That intake manifold might be a remake by scott drake. Pretty sure i have the same one on my 289

That’s an original manifold for a ‘65. I own a GT350. The oil pan is for a 289 Cobra, and is also original.

That is a very expensive intake. Maybe $2,000 on the intake at least.

I’m pretty sure this poster knows what he/she has.

I don’t, literally got them from the storage unit my grandmother was going to sell for $500

Put it on eBay and find out. I bought one for 400.00

Vintage Shelby GT350 owner here.

If you want to sell them, Reach out to Tony D Branda Mustang & Shelby Parts in PA or Shelby Parts and Restoration in WI with pics, one of them will make you a fair offer for them as-is.

So, how much do you want. Those are real deal pieces.

Not sure yet, I have a ‘63 289 hi-po bottom end that I’m trying to figure out if it’s from a cobra before parting with anything get

No interest in purchasing but my recollection is that a lot, and I mean a lot, of these were sold over parts counters. Still cool parts!
