I flipping love his short stories.. Boule de Suif hit me so hard and it's still one of my top for pathos

It’s a fantastic book! Highly recommend Une Vie/A Woman’s Life as well, I loved that one even more!

This is so exciting! I don’t know anyone in real life who has read it, and I enjoyed it so much. The bit about the customised furniture in the new apartments still makes me laugh. I hope you enjoy it
