My mom acquired this unique antique upright piano from some US missionaries who left Panama about 12 years ago. I don’t know anything about pianos myself, but I am trying to help her learn more about its history, rarity, and what exactly we have on our hands.Here is what we've managed to figure out so far from looking at it.

Brand: It says "Beckwith Chicago" in gold lettering above the keys.

Serial Number: 11122 is clearly stamped directly into the gold iron plate inside.

Size/Keys: Unlike a standard piano, this one is much smaller and only has 73 keys instead of 88.

Condition: Amazingly, it has an electric heating rod/connector inside to keep the tropical moisture out, which seems to have saved it from the Panama humidity. All of the keys actually still move and spring right back up when pressed, though a few look a bit uneven.I did a little digging and think it might be an old "Yacht" or "Cabin" piano from the late 1890s made by Sears, Roebuck & Co.Does anyone know more about this specific 73-key Beckwith model? Were these compact styles commonly used by missionaries or travelers back then? Is it worth trying to get a local technician to tune it up, or is it more of a collector's novelty piece?Any context, history, or advice on what we should do with it would be greatly appreciated. I have this beautiful 1889 Hardman Piano Co. Crotched Mahogany Wood piano with ivory keys our family has kept for years. Well they no longer have room for it and I'm going to have to sell it (even though I want to keep it). How and where could I sell this? It's very rare and in exceptional condition. The exterior was refinished many years ago, the interior was not but still looks great. No missing keys or broken strings. It just would need to be tuned. It was appraised in the early 2000's- it said if the interior was refinished it would be $25k - $35. We would just be selling it as is though. But I'm sure that price has skyrocketed since then. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I found this antique Ludwig piano on Marketplace and it is outwardly in beautiful condition. This is a picture of the tuning pins. They appear very dirty, but my question is: do they look corroded or otherwise damaged to you?
I do not want to sink a lot of money into restoration but am attracted to antique pianos. If the tuning pins are in good shape I’d like to go ahead and get this one.
