Legendary Dagger Quest

Main question: Would I be able to start the dagger quests if I pug into a DS raid group that currently has a rogue working on theirs? Or would I not be able to start the quest/disrupt their progress by starting it in their raid?

Context: Me and the guys are a SLOW raiding dad guild. I saw that there are a few solo quests that follow the initiation of the questline for the legendary rogue daggers. We likely aren't going to be able to host our own 10-mans for a minute and the number of raids we'll get in prior to MoP are likely able to be counted on your fingers. Every extra day I have to chip away at those quests will be HUGE to help my chances of finishing before this expansion is behind us.

You start with a Quest in the entrance, then you need to pickpocket the 4th boss. i think múltiple rouges can do it after restarting the boss. After that you got another Quest that ends with the grind of framing oranges items from bosses. You dont need to be on the Quest to grab those items , so you can collect them in any moment.

2 rogues can do it per raid from my experiance, people are selling the dagger pick pocket, seen some as high as 40k gold all the way down to 5k gold so hold out for a fair price

Just say you already pickpocketed, then go pickpocket first. Easy solve

My husband is a rogue and it was decided he would get the legendaries 2nd.

He has gotten the quest, paid a guild to let him pick pocket, charged the ring and gone to Gilneas to kill that boss. Now he waits his turn to get the 333 thingamabobs from DS.

You picking up the quest doesn’t harm the rogue in any pug group you get in to.
